Daily Damage is a game. We collect as little as we can to run daily scores and boards.
What we store
When you first open the app it creates an anonymous player: a player number and a session. When you finish a daily we store your round scores for that day so we can show where you rank. If you claim a name, we store it and show it on the boards. If you sign in with Apple, we store the account identifier Apple provides (we don't ask for your name or email) so you can keep your player across devices.
On your phone
Your history, streak and settings are kept on your phone and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud storage so a new phone keeps them. We can't read your iCloud data.
Product analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the game is played (for example which rounds people finish, scores, streaks and shares) and to catch crashes, linked to your player. PostHog estimates a rough location (country and city) from your connection; we don't use GPS.
What we don't do
No advertising and we don't sell data.
Deleting
Settings → Account → Delete my account removes your player, name and scores from our servers immediately. Your on-phone history stays until you delete the app.
